Rooftop cafe and cocktail bar Willows on the Roof has unveiled its annual holiday update, turning the space into a winter wonderland. Located on atop London’s John Lewis Oxford Street, the space looks to provide a sanctuary from the mayhem of Christmas shopping.
Boasting a Christmas tree as its centrepiece, alongside seasonal decor, the Willows on the Roof offers cosy winter domes that allow visitors to enjoy the rooftop space without the seasonal chill. There are four domes available to book and each seats 4 to 6 guest.
Guests can book one of the private, chalet-inspired heated cabins. There are two available to book, with one provifng capacity for 8-10 people, while the other offers space for 4-6. The large outdoor lounge area offers catering on tables for 6-15 seated guests or up to 5 people on the smaller tables.
The cocktail menu offers twists on classic pours, such as the Gingerbread Sour, which sees a blend of Chase GB, gingerbread syrup, lemon, and Miraculous foamed bitter. The Mulled Gin’n juice mixes mulled spiced organic Somerset Apple Juice, Chase Sloe Gin, Christmas spices mix, and lemon juice. Additional menu highlights include the Comfort and Joy and The Night Tales Mulled Negroni.
Located at John Lewis, 300 Oxford Street, W1C 1DX, near Oxford Circus station, the Willows on the Roof winter wonderland is open Monday through Saturday from 12pm to 10pm and Sundays from 12pm to 9pm. To make a reservation, head over to the official website.
